SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN - PARISH POLICY STATEMENT

The parish of Holy Family, Dundalk, values and encourages the participation of children and young people in all parish activities that will help their spiritual, emotional and social development.

The parish recognises the dignity and rights of all children and is committed to ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. The parish recognises that all involved in working with children have a special duty and care towards them.

There are procedures and a Code of Conduct in place to implement this policy statement. We are also committed to reviewing our policy and good practice annually.

 

The Parish Representatives who can be contacted with regards to the welfare of children and young people involved in parish based
activities are Sr. Joan Watters, Ms. Sarah McManus and Mr. Liam Whyte.. They can be contacted through the Parish Office.
